Office Hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 to 4:00
Our physicians also see patients for consultation in Sellersville,
Pennsylvania (Bucks County) on Thursday afternoons.
A
consultation will last between 1 - 1 1/2 hours. We request that both partners
be present for the consultation if possible. An extensive history will be obtained
as well as a complete physical exam on the female partner. You will also meet
with the financial counselor to discuss your insurance coverage and to answer
any questions that you may have regarding this matter. Please be advised that
24 hours notification is required for cancellation of an appointment.
It
is very helpful for Drs. Freedman and Castelbaum to review your old records prior
to your initial consultation appointment. Click below to print out a record release
form.

After
filling out the form, please mail it to your Obstetrician-Gynecologist or previous
infertility physician.
The physician that you see in consultation on that day will become your primary
physician. You will make plans regarding your evaluation and treatment with that
physician. A unique care plan designed for you will be on file so that all of
the medical team is knowledgeable of your care.
All appointments
are scheduled for early morning hours (7:30 to 9:30 a.m).
If you need to
schedule an appointment for a weekend or holiday, please call the Office on the
Friday preceding the weekend, between 1:30 and 3:00 p.m. You will be given an
appointment time, informed who will be working on that day.
During weekend
visits, it may be necessary for blood to be drawn for hormonal monitoring. Results
are available in the early afternoon. We, therefore, request that, on weekends,
you either be available for instructions by telephone between 12:00 noon and 2:00
p.m., or have an answering machine on which a detailed message can be left.
We
welcome your questions and concerns and would like you to feel free to call during
office hours to discuss them. There may be times when your physician or a nurse
is unavailable to speak to you when you call. We return our voicemails the same
day. If you leave a message, we are happy to return your call. Quite often, telephone
calls are returned in the afternoon.
