To assist our patients with every aspect of infertility treatment, our insurance coordinators are available to answer your questions about your insurance benefits, even before you start treatment. Our financial coordinators will personally meet with each patient to help explain individual insurance coverage and benefits. At RMA of Philadelphia, we believe it is important for each of our patients to understand all aspects of infertility treatment so that, together, we can make the best treatment choices. 

RMA of Philadelphia participates with dozens of insurance carriers and will help our patients navigate the often confusing benefits process. If insurance coverage is not available, we also offers a full range of financing options to help patients best manage the cost of care.  Each of these financing plans can help maximize a patient’s chance of conceiving through appropriate treatment while minimizing the overall financial risk.

Insurance Reimbursement

Currently only 15 states require insurance coverage for infertility treatment, and laws vary widely. Pennsylvania does not mandate coverage for infertility treatment; New Jersey does provide for coverage of diagnosis, as well as for some procedures and treatment options (including four egg retrievals, in vitro fertilization (IVF), intracytoplasmic sperm injection (ICSI) and certain surgical procedures and medications).
